Confirmation Covenant Form

A covenant is a binding agreement or contract. God made a covenant with His people including Abraham, Isaac, Jacob (Exodus 2:24-25), and David (II Samuel7:12-16). Jesus fulfills the covenant between God and his children.

The purpose of our Covenant is for parents and students to understand the expectations of our Confirmation Ministry. We hope to offer you life changing opportunities to continuously grow in God’s Word through learning, worship, intentional relationship building, and community services

ATTENDANCE: I will participate in Wednesday night confirmation activities:
Worship service attendance; Outreach: group community service; Learning: Pastor-led large group teaching followed by small group discussions; Fellowship: Large & small group events.
If I miss class, I will inform my adult leader so I can receive any missed lessons.

I will complete 10 worship notes (Blank forms available at the back of the sanctuary).

RESPECT: I will honor the confirmation ministry and be respectful to all. We will address misunderstanding in a biblical manner and avoid gossip or slander. I will come prepared for class with a positive attitude.

PARENTS: I will be a support to my child(ren) and live out the promises I made at their Baptism by walking alongside and learning with them in their faith journey, attending worship services with them, pray with them as they prepare for Confirmation.
