Kin Ministry

who we are and what we do

Kin Ministry at Calvary is committed to check-in and see how each of you are doing, as well as have some time to move forward with one of our most valuable ministries! Kin Ministries is an off-site "one-on-one" ministry geared toward developing meaningful conversations. These are open volunteer positions, so if you are just interested in finding out what it is all about, stop in and have a chat with Deacon Tom. You will be a part of a fast-growing ministry for seniors in our congregation.

Our vision is to be the leader in ending isolation and loneliness by connecting our community of faith, empowering individuals and delivering exceptional education and support. We do this through our three building blocks that comprise Kin Ministry at Calvary Lutheran Church.

  • IGNITE:   We will provide training and help you set-up individual meetings to ignite connections within our congregation at Calvary.
  • CONNECT:  We will be connecting throughout your various visits.  This can all be done online or in person.
  • GROW:   On-going support and training to help you engage others and grow.
