Lenten Theme

Theme statement: From the GIA publication materials: “That You May Have Life”, proclaims passion of the Gospel of John. Each significant chapter, bringing the emotion of the characters to life, such as the woman at the well, the raising of Lazarus, Jesus' intimate dialogue with Nicodemus, his very public encounter with the man born blind, and the washing of the feet at the Last Supper. The depth and breadth of this series invites us into a personal relationship with them, “that we may believe that Jesus is the Messiah and that through believing we may have life in his name.” “That You May Have Life” presents us with an opportunity to meet the One we are all seeking. It allows us to encounter Jesus, the Word made flesh, face to face.”
